“To be creative, you need to have, or be trained in, the ability to carefully observe, notice, or attend to phenomena that pass your mind’s eye.”

My Story

“Art without engineering is dreaming. Engineering without art is calculating”.

“Art without engineering is dreaming. Engineering without art is calculating”.

I’m a creative and engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit. Having a curious mind, I always wanted to evolve. Besides a successful career as a world-renowned dancer, I excelled in different areas of interest. At an early age, I found a unique relation between my passions: design, music, dance and tech. Utilizing the power in each vertical helped me understand things from a different perspective.

I started to develop my love for tech as my older brother had a stack of Coding for Dummies books from school. Being a Popping dancer (this is me dancing), which is a very robotic and illusional street dance style, I was very fascinated by technology and robots. As a 10 year old kid, I realized now that I could be creative through coding and designing websites too. Getting into digital creation was therefore my segue from traditional arts. Besides my first job as a dancer at 13, I started to sell websites to local stores, restaurants and non-profits early on. The pressure of needing to pay for myself at an early age started to develop an entrepreneurial trait, that helped mold me into into the person I am today.

The following years followed studies at the Royal Institute of Technology, engineering in computer science. By random chance, I was asked to help out with fashion photography for some of Sweden’s elite fashion bloggers during a period of time. That became a new passion that led to editorial work for a Scandinavian fashion magazine (CHIC Magazine) as well as work during Fashion Week in Stockholm, Paris and New York.

I dropped out of college in 2013, Royal Institute of Technology (B.Sc. Computer Science), as I was offered a role as a front-end developer at a CRM firm. With a foot in the industry I worked myself up and ended up as a consultant with an expertise in Visual Design, UX, UI, Creative Direction and Product Development. My free time was spent turning ideas into start-ups at a start-up incubator based in Stockholm.

Today, I am the co-founder and CPO of the media-tech start-up THXRD Inc, with our social media app for creatives called OZONE, alongside my partner and co-founder Quincy Jones III. I’m also looking to help companies design the products of tomorrow, and mentoring the future generation of designers all across the globe. With a strong sense for design as well as tech, I want to help bridge the gap between the two.
